4th Grade
We are continuing our author study of Chris Van Allsburg by reading The Wretched Stone. We discussed what we thought the stone represented in our daily lives. 3rd Grade They had play practice during library this week. 2nd Grade We read the Show-Me Nominee, I Am Trying to Love Spiders. Then we shared things that we like about spiders ( for me NOTHING) and things we didn't like about spiders. It was a really fun book! 1st Grade We also read a Show-Me Nominee, The Day the Crayons Came Home. We then each chose a crayon and decided what it had been used to color and what it would say if it could talk. Kindergarten We read the book, The Ugly Pumpkin then watched a video of the book. They got to color a picture of a pumpkin and a jack-o-lantern when they finished checking out. We have introduced 6 centers so far!
